Excellence Academy, in cooperation with the Faculty of Economics of the University of Zenica, organized the education “Leadership and Motivation 2023” on March 20, 2023. in Sarajevo at Hotel Europe. Thirty students of the Faculty participated in a full-day education aimed at encouraging leadership skills in young people that will contribute positively to their personal development and society in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The program included education in the fields of Communication and Marketing, Cultural pluralism, Organization Management, Motivation, and Personal development. The lecturers and panelists at the training were Nađa Lutvikadić-Fočo, Edin Branković, Milan Todorović, and Tarik Isaković. Ilma Dedić-Grabus, Tarik Moćević, and the Excellence Academy team contributed to the successful organization of the event. As part of the educational program, the students toured the old center of Sarajevo. They visited the Jewish Museum, the Cathedral of the Heart of Jesus, the Cathedral, Bey’s Mosque (Begova džamija), and the Emperor’s Mosque (Careva džamija).
“We are glad that, together with the Faculty of Economics of the University of Zenica and the students of the Faculty, we achieved this type of education, which was recognized and rewarded in the selection of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). We are also grateful to the lecturers, panelists, and friends of Excellence Academy who selflessly contributed to the success of this education. We hope that our alumni will continue to pass on their knowledge and experience to future generations of Academy participants and beyond,” said Mr. Sci. Edin Branković, founder of the Excellence Academy and representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina in short-track speed skating.
As a reminder, Excellence Academy is a globally recognized and award-winning social project selected by the International Olympic Committee in the “Sports and Social Development” in 2016 and 2018. Over the past seven years of the Academy’s operation, over 1,000 young people have participated in sports and educational and cultural programs.
