Excellence Academy of Bosnia and Herzegovina was founded as the social project of Edin Branković – IOC Young Ambassador and Short Track National Team Representative who was selected for the prestigious role in 2012 and 2014 for Youth Olympic Games in Innsbruck and Nanjing. In 2018 he was selected for the role IOC Young Change-Maker.

Excellence Academy, founded in 2016, has a mission to empower youth to recognize personal talents and values through the programs of sport, education and culture. Through different activities of Excellence Academy on the local level over 200 students participated in sport, education and culture programs.

IOC and Panasonic selected the Academy as one of the best youth projects in 2016 and 2018. Edin presented the Academy model on summits in Lausanne, Buenos Aires and Tokyo.

It is a significant acknowledgment for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Skating Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Excellence Academy to be part of the successful history of IOC on its 125thanniversary as one of the most known and most successful world organizations. Excellence Academy represents a spark of 14th Winter Olympic Spirt from the Olympics held in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina (former member of Yugoslavia) (1984).
